April 1 is the deadline to apply for two different scholarships, Tullahoma High School officials have announced.
One is the Holland scholarship, distributed through the a scholarship selection committee chaired by Harry Brittain, while the other is the Wollman-Armstrong scholarship, distributed through a scholarship committee chaired by Beth Welsh.
Renewal applications for both scholarships are available online at www.tullahomacityschools.net or at the Tullahoma City Schools administration building, 510 S. Jackson St.
The Holland scholarship for deserving THS students was established with a bequest from the late John I. Holland, an executive with the Coca-Cola Bottle Works of Tullahoma Inc., as a memorial for himself and his parents, C.V. and Maybelle Holland.
The Wollman-Armstrong scholarship for deserving THS students was established with a bequest from the late O.G. Wollman and Dorothy Armstrong Wollman as a memorial for themselves and Dorothy Armstrong Wollman’s mother, the late Ella Armstrong.
