FRANCIS, Kenneth Wesley, 49, of Decherd, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2012, at Southern Tennessee Medical Center in Winchester. He was born Dec. 20, 1962, in Winchester. He was employed by Grider Construction. Surviving are his parents, Clark and Earline (Wilkerson) Francis, Decherd; brothers, James Francis, Cottage Grove, Minn., and Clark Francis Jr., Decherd; sister, Kimberly Francis, Decherd, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 1 p.m. on Monday, May 14, at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 201 Acklen St., Decherd, where funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday with interment in Franklin Memorial Gardens, Winchester. Moore-Cortner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
VAUGHN, Emmit D., 77, of Manchester, died Thursday, May 10, 2012, at his residence. A native of Cannon County, he was a retired salesman for Stan McNabb in Tullahoma and Al White Motors in Manchester. He was the husband of Julia “Judy” Vaughn. Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 12, at Manchester Funeral Home with entombment in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
