Grand jury indicts Allen for murder of Meagan McGuinn

A murder case led the list of indictments returned by the Coffee County Grand Jury when it convened for its October term recently.

The jury handed down 73 indictments or “true bills” and returned six “no true” bills. Arraignments will be held Oct. 31 in Coffee County Circuit Court.

Thomas Allen

Among the indictments are murder charges against Thomas Edward Allen. He is charged with felony first-degree murder, theft of property over $1,000 and premeditated first-degree murder in connection with the stabbing death on March 8, 2012, of Meagan Ann McGuinn at her apartment on Harton Boulevard.

Cleared by the grand jury were:

Carl Richard Brewer, who had been charged with three counts of violation of an order of protection.

Ethan James Payne and Aaron Conley Coulson, had been charged with burglary, vandalism and theft over $1,000.

Clinton Wesley Jernigan, had been charged with aggravated domestic assault and vandalism over $1,000.

Diva Leeann Parks,  had been charged with possession of controlled substance, schedule IV and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Carl Richard Brewer, had been charged with three counts of violation of an order of protection.

Other indictments and charges are as follows:

Danny Ray Harris,  aggravated domestic assault.

Paul Mason Riddle and Mary E. Vann, two counts of aggravated assault.

Charles Bryant and Matthew Butler, initiation of the process to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Roger Glen Ray Jr.,  violating a habitual offender order, driving on a revoked license fourth offense, speeding and prohibited weapon.

Jonathan Lyn Taylor, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell/deliver more than 14.175 grams of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance Schedule II, possession of a controlled substance Schedule IV, violation of financial responsibility and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Thomas Davis Hastings, assault.

Shirro Perez Price,  possession of a controlled substance in a penal institution.

Devin Glenn Messick,  possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell/deliver .5 grams or more Schedule II, driving on a revoked license second offense, violation of the registration law, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving an unregistered vehicle.

Ethan James Payne and Aaron Conley Coulson, burglary, vandalism and theft over $1,000.

Jennifer Throneberry,  theft of property over $500 and unlawful possession of a weapon.

Christopher Alan Baker, three counts of statutory rape.

Thomas Hester Ezell,  two counts of convicted felon in possession of a weapon, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell/deliver over 14.175 grams Schedule VI marijuana, possession of a controlled substance Schedule II and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Robert Junior Sanders, promotion of methamphetamine manufacture and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Tiffanie Ernesta Burress and Gary Larry Davis, initiation of the process to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Amy Sherra Rackley, Frederick Clinton Williams and Betsy Kay Henley, initiation of the process to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Barry Lee Arnold,  sale of a controlled substance more than 14.175 grams of marijuana.

Michael Dale Cyree, public intoxication; burglary, theft of property over $10,000; vandalism and failure to appear.

Joshua Cooley, initiation of the process to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jennifer Lee Winfrey, Melynda Ann Nunnery and Lavon Lyn Nunnery,  obtaining a controlled substance by fraud, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell/deliver Schedule II and two counts of possession of a controlled substance Schedule II.

Rebecca Alice Hostetler and Riley Joe Arthur, charges of initiation of the process to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Diariatou Bah and Ibrahima Sory Diallo,  29 counts of criminal simulation.

Jennifer Lee Winfrey,  failure to appear.

Timothy Milligan,  DUI fifth offense, speeding, violation of financial responsibility, open container, violation of the registration law and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Steven Andrew Lokey,  aggravated burglary and theft over $500.

Amanda Carol Youngblood, DUI first offense.

Travis Ryan Swearington, five counts of hindering a secured creditor, two counts of theft of property over $500 and  three counts of theft of property over $1,000.

Larry Glen Womble,  24 counts of unlawful possession of a weapon, 24 counts of failure to dispossess a firearm and reckless endangerment.

Divia Leeann Parks,  possession of a controlled substance Schedule VI and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Stacey Prince, DUI second offense, driving on a revoked license first offense and leaving the scene of accident with property damage.

Justin Patrick Gaither, domestic assault, aggravated burglary, vandalism over $1,000, violation of order of protection, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Cody Spencer Ledbetter, initiation of the process to manufacture methamphetamine, evading arrest, no driver’s license and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Terry Wayne Tidwell,  driving on a revoked license ninth offense, possession of a controlled substance Schedule III and possession of a controlled substance Schedule IV.

Derrick Tyrone Green,  initiation of the process to manufacture methamphetamine, three counts of assault, evading arrest, possession of a controlled substance Schedule II and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Brian Edward Ward,  DUI fourth offense,  violation of implied consent, open container and violation of seatbelt law.

Jimmy Wayne Brandon, DUI first offense, DUI first offense .20 percent blood alcohol count, violation of habitual motor offender order, violation of  registration law and violation of seatbelt law.

Tami M. Conner,  DUI first offense, driving on a revoked/suspended license, possession of a Schedule III controlled substance, violation of seatbelt law and violation of financial responsiblity.

Terry Dean O’Kelly,  two counts of possession of a controlled substance in a penal institution.

Ricky Adam Walls,  theft of property over $500, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell/deliver Schedule II, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell/deliver Schedule III, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell/deliver Schedule IV, theft over $1,000, fraudulent use of a credit/debit card and possession of drug paraphernalia.

James Crockett Dodson, three counts of criminal simulation and evading arrest.

Joshua Phillips, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell/deliver Schedule II, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell/deliver Schedule IV and public intoxication.

Matthew Kyle Kapise, two counts of aggravated burglary, vandalism under $500, two counts of theft over $1,000 and theft under $500.

Brittney E. Pack,  possession of a controlled substance Schedule II with intent to sell/deliver, possession of a controlled substance Schedule IV with intent to sell/deliver, driving on a revoked license fourth offense and criminal impersonation.

Tyler Steven Uselton,  six counts of burglary of an automobile, simple possession of a controlled substance Schedule VI marijuana, aggravated robbery, vandalism under $500 and three counts of theft of property under $500.
