DW Wilson opened its doors in 1975. After undergoing a major renovation the community center reopened in April 2009. The renovated community center includes a fitness room, several meeting rooms, dance studio, multipurpose room, gymnasium, and indoor pool. The Joel C Ferrell outdoor pool is also located at the community center site.

Monday-Friday 6:00am-9:00pm
Saturday 9:00am-5:00pm
Sunday 12:00pm-5:00pm

The Fitness Room features a variety of strength training and cardiovascular machines such as: treadmills, stair climbers, stationary bicycles, recumbent bicycles and rowing machines.

DW Wilson has facilities that the public may rent for meetings, parties, programs, special events, sporting events, etc.
