A GUIDE TO FLOSSING YOUR TEETH

Dr. Janette Gardner 300x250

Flossing should be a regular part of your oral hygiene routine.

Dental floss helps clear food debris and plaque from the spaces between your teeth where your toothbrush can’t reach. Dental floss also helps prevent gum or periodontal diseases, tooth decay, and bad breath.

There are a variety of dental flossing products that can be used depending on what best fits your needs. These include waxed or unwaxed floss, interdental plackers, interproximal brushes, and oral irrigators.  Any floss that slips easily between teeth without hurting or damaging the gums is the floss for you.
