Dr. Long is a native of Tennessee. He was born and reared in Sewanee, Tennessee and attended St. Andrews/Sewanee Military Academy. He completed his undergraduate work at Florida State University and Middle Tennessee State University and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee Dental School in 1971.

Dr. Long has been in the private practice of General Dentistry in Tullahoma, Tennessee since 1973. His practice includes the conservative care through interdisciplinary management of patients who suffer with temporomandibular related disorders and head, neck and craniofacial pain. He is also very interested in patients with sleep disorders and has recently incorporated treatment for those concerns into his practice. His approach to creating aesthetically pleasing smiles and cosmetic enhancement is state of the art.

Some of these services include whitening, bonding, veneers, bridges, crowns, laser dental procedures, dentures, sealants for children, implants and inlays.

Office services include: twenty four hour answering service, free samples of dental products, free coffee while you wait, free dental care information cards, accepts new patients and Dr. Long is the only Dr. in this area that specializes in the TMJ disorder.

Dr. Long holds memberships in many professional organizations including the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Orthodontic Society, the American Equilibration Society, American Academy of Pain Management, the International Association of Orthodontia, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Academy of Sleep Medicine, American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, Middle Tennessee Dental Society and the Tennessee Dental Association. He is the founder of the Tennessee Cranio.

Janette G. Gardner, D.D.S.

Dr. Gardner grew up in Franklin County and attended Franklin County High School, where she graduated in 1996. She resides in Estill Springs with her husband of six years, Casey, and her one-year-old son Gunner. They are expecting their daughter Gabbi to arrive in November of 2008.

Dr. Gardner earned her undergraduate degrees at Motlow State Community College and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.

She is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Tennessee Dental Association (TDA), the 4th District Dental Organization of Conscious Sedation (DOCS), the Tullahoma Chamber of Commerce, and the General Federation of Women’s Club (GFWC). She is also a CEO Partner of St. Paul the Apostle School of Tullahoma.
