TMS Red, Black teams dominate in victories

The Tullahoma Middle School Red Bowling Team stayed perfect on the season, upping its record to 4-0 on the season after shutting out Whitworth at home on Tuesday and securing the 27-0 victory.

The TMS Black team also improved its season record on Tuesday, improving to 3-1 on the year after toppling Rockvale 21.5-5.5 at home.

In the TMS Red Team victory, it didn’t allow Whitworth to win a single game at all, taking a 6-0 advantage when games were concluded in the first set. The Wildcats added two more points to their score after leading the set in pins, 850-473, taking an 8-0 lead.

Lynsey Jackson opened the first set with a 150-57 win. Gunnar Klein followed with a 168-58 victory. Chris Blaylock picked up a 149-66 win, while Danyeal Busby notched a 119-107 win. Lance Thompson added a 130-65 victory before Gavin Klein closed out the set with a 134-120 win.

Again Tullahoma won all six matches during the second set and added two more points after leading in pins, 763-456, as the Wildcats upped their advantage to 16-0.

Chase Forsyth opened the second set with a 139-74 victory. Gunnar followed with a 104-42 win, while Keegan Hadley added a 141-57 victory. Busby secured a 142-109 win. Thompson picked up a 110-81 victory, and Gavin closed out the set with a 127-93 win.

Tullahoma swept the final set and added two more points to its score after leading the set in pins, 813-559. The Wildcats added the final three points of the matchup after leading the match in pins, 2,426-1,488, going on to win 27-0.

Forsyth started the final set with a 149-125 win for Tullahoma. Gunnar added a 139-117 win. Hadley followed with a 112-56 victory. Jackson notched a 160-86 victory. Thompson secured a 106-68 win, while Blaylock notched a 147-107 victory.

The Tullahoma Black Team took control against Rockvale from the start, winning four games in the opening set. The Wildcats then added two more points to their score after leading in pins, 761-630, taking a 6-2 advantage.

Ashton Womack notched an 86-82 win for Tullahoma. Caine Epperson added a 134-60 victory. Emilee Shuran secured a 176-145 win, while Elijah Wood closed out the set with a 142-83 victory.

Tullahoma added four more wins in the second set and tied another matchup. The Wildcats then added two more points to their score after leading the set in pins, 699-589, taking a 12.5-3.5 advantage.

Kyle Turner notched the first win in the second set for Tullahoma, picking up a 131-100 win. Epperson added a 158-67 victory. Shuran notched a 108-90 win, before Wood closed out the set with a 111-84 victory. Abigail Nelson tied with her opponent at 91.

Tullahoma closed out the final set with four more wins, adding two more points after leading the set in pins, 736-723. The Wildcats then added the final three points of the matchup after leading the match in pins, 2,196-1,942, going on to capture the 21.5-5.5 advantage.

Turner notched the first win for Tullahoma in the first set with a 102-97 victory. Epperson followed with a 198-129 win. Robbie Popovich secured a 127-102 victory before Womack closed out the match with a 92-87 win.

Both Tullahoma teams were scheduled to have home matches on Tuesday starting at 4:15 p.m. The TMS Black Team will host Oakland, while the TMS Red Team will host Christiana.
