In honor of breast cancer awareness month, woman’s fashion retailer Cato of Tullahoma will be hosting a “Pink Event” from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday to benefit Multi-County Cancer Support Network.
According to store manager Joan Pepper, Alderman Sandy Lindeman will emcee the afternoon’s events, which include a fashion show with breast cancer survivors as models, a silent auction, and a bake sale featuring cupcakes donated by Chef Bridget of Goody 2 Scoops yogurt and pastry shop.
Harton Regional Medical Center will also be on hand with educational information and breast cancer merchandise, such as pins and ribbons, will be available.
The event will conclude at 5 p.m. with a balloon release in memory of “warriors” who lost their battle with breast cancer.
Cato of Tullahoma is located at 2111 N. Jackson Street.
