Watts is in a unique position as he is following in his father, Dave Watts, footsteps, literally.  Dave retired as the minister of music and worship at FBC after 15 years of service and now is proud to be worshipping under the leadership of his son.

Watts says his leadership goal is to present an authentic, vertical worship in a culturally relevant environment that literally becomes contagious to all those around.

The church invites the public to join the church for “A Night of Thanksgiving” at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 20, in the Worship Center.  The event will feature a time of worship through communion, scripture, and song that will allow the opportunity to express thanksgiving and praise to the Giver of all good things.

The night of worship will be led by Pastor Christian Watts and guest Christian songwriter and worship leader Jamie Harvill.

Harvill has written and recorded such songs as “Ancient of Days”, “Firm Foundation” and “Because We Believe” and has toured as lead guitarist with artist such as Don Moen and Ron Kenoly.  Jamie has written for artists such as Newsong, Truth, and Promise Keepers. Childcare will be provided for preschool and nursery age children.
