The city of Tullahoma invites the community to attend a farewell reception for its two outgoing aldermen, Renee Keene and Jackie Duncan, next Monday, Aug. 26.
Duncan and Keene will say goodbye to their terms on the Tullahoma Board of Mayor and Aldermen as the terms of the recently-elected Daniel Berry and Rupa Blackwell begin.
Duncan and Keene were both elected in 2013 and served two consecutive three-year terms on the board.
Keene was elected Mayor Pro-Tem in 2018.
Duncan also serves Tullahoma as a Coffee County Commissioner for District 19.
Mayor Lane Curlee announced the reception will take place at 5 p.m. in the board chambers room at city hall, 201 W. Grundy St., before the regular meeting of the city board begins.
Both Duncan and Keene will begin the meeting, Curlee said, but will step down shortly after the meeting begins, as Berry and Blackwell will be officially sworn in for their terms.
The public is invited to bid farewell to Duncan and Keene, as well as welcome Berry and Blackwell.
