Tennova Healthcare – Harton CEO Richard Ellis has been appointed to serve on three city boards, including the Tullahoma Area Economic Development Corporation (TAEDC).
Ellis was unanimously approved by the city board on Monday for appointment on TAEDC as well as the Tullahoma Industrial Board and the Tullahoma Health, Education and Housing Board following the resignation of Dennie Crabtree, who had previously served on the three boards.
In his letter of resignation, Crabtree expressed his “deepest appreciation for the opportunity to serve on the TAEDC board” and considered himself “blessed by the experience.”
In his citizen participation form, which was given to The News, Ellis said he was “very interested in helping our community to develop the strongest economy possible.”
“I hope that my experience skill set will be of value to the TAEDC,” Ellis said on the form.
Ellis is also a foundation chair for the Sunrise Rotary Club and a board member for the Tullahoma Area Chamber of Commerce and Partners for Healing.
