Coffee County Administrator of Elections Andy Farrar encouraged those who have not registered to vote yet to do so.

Voter registration deadline is July 2, according to Farrar.

There are currently about 11,350 registered voters in the City of Tullahoma, said Farrar.

He stressed the importance of voting.

“Voter participation is essential to electing the best qualified person to represent us as citizens on a local, state and federal platform,” Farrar said. “I would ask every registered citizen to take a few minutes out of their day during early voting or Election Day to cast a vote.

Every vote matters, added Farrar.

Locals may register at the Tullahoma City Hall, the Department of Motor Vehicles, Department of Human Services, the Manchester or Tullahoma Health Department, or by using a registration by-mail form available at the Tullahoma Post Office or public library.

Voter registration forms and absentee information may also be downloaded at www.coffeecountyelectioncommission.com

“All first time by-mail registrations must vote in person during early voting or on Election Day,” Farrar said.

Early voting will begin at C.D. Stamps Community Center, 810 S. Jackson St., on Friday, July 12, and will end on Saturday, July 27.

Election Day will be on Thursday, Aug. 1.
