The Tullahoma High School drama teacher has been suspended pending an investigation, school officials confirmed to The News.
According to Interim Director of Schools Scott Hargrove, Aaron Miller has been “suspended pending investigation” from his duties at THS.
School Board Attorney Clifton Miller told The News the theatre arts educator will not receive compensation during the investigation.
“In Tennessee there is no such thing in education law of a suspension with pay,” he said. “It’s just a statutory oddity.”
There is no current timeline for the investigation, according to counsel.
“We’re right in the middle of it, and I don’t know how long it’s going to take,” Miller said.
The News reached out to Aaron for comment but was told he “cannot at this time” speak on the subject.
