A man is missing teeth after he said hello to the wrong woman this past week, his greeting getting him slugged in the face with a pair of brass knuckles.
Police were contacted by the hospital after he arrived there, seeking treatment for his injuries. Officers noted the victim was missing three of his front teeth, allegedly the result of the punch he received from the unidentified assailant.
According to the victim, he simply said hello to a woman who was sitting in a white sedan on East Lincoln Street. A man immediately came at him from behind the vehicle.
“Why the (expletive) you up on my car?” the man asked before punching him in the face with a pair of brass knuckles.
Upon further questioning by police, the man said he did not want to pursue charges, adding he had no idea who his assailant was or exactly what led to the punch.
