“The Best of The ‘50s and ‘60s” show is set for 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14 South Jackson Civic Center, bringing all of the hits from way-back-when.
The show will “take you on a journey back in time to the ‘50s and ‘60s,” according to showrunner Jamie Harden. “The stage show features a live band and singers where the hits just keep on coming,” he said.
The Ultimate Oldies will feature genres such as doo wop, folk and rock ’n roll during the show.
“The crowd will enjoy the music of artists such as Chuck Berry, Elvis, The Beatles, Buddy Holly, Little Richard, The Beach Boys, Peter, Paul and Mary, Tina Turner, Sonny and Cher, Aretha Franklin and many more,” said Harden. “Feel free to clap and sing along, or even get up and dance.”
The Ultimate Oldies Show is a traveling group, based out of Manchester, performing shows with hit songs from the early days of rock and roll, classic country, the 1950s, ‘60s, ‘70s, ‘80s and more.
“We are always excited to come to Tullahoma,” said Harden.
