STEWART, Jimmy “Dutchman,” 85, of Normandy, passed this life on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 31, at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive visitors beginning at noon.  Jimmy was the son of the late Luther and Louella Tankersley Stewart. He enjoyed talking on his CB radio and was known as the Dutchman. He also enjoyed working on cars. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Thomas Lee Stewart and sister, Helen Burnett. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Lemmons Stewart of Normandy; sons: Jimmy Stewart Jr. of Tullahoma, Daniel Stewart and his wife, Linda of Winchester, David and Phillip Stewart, both of Tullahoma and Tom Stewart and his wife, Lorina of Lynchburg; daughter, Sherry Stewart Saunders of Wartrace; 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. WINLAND, C. Rogers, 83, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018, at Autumn Oaks Assisted Living in Manchester. Mr. Winland was born in Akron, Ohio, to the late Clarence and Minnie Ruth Hasty Winland. He served his country proudly in the United States Army National Guard and worked as a distiller at George Dickel. Mr. Winland attended Little Hurricane Baptist Church in Winchester. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Mae Winland, and one granddaughter, Rebecca Winland. Mr. Winland is survived by his sons Danny Winland and his wife Anna of Estill Springs and Dale Winland and his wife Tina of Tullahoma; grandchildren Amanda James and her husband Jason, Lt. Commander Matthew Winland and his wife Sarah, and Mark Winland and his wife Courtney; two great-grandchildren: Calvin and Hannah; one sister, Francis Ruth Faulkner; nephew, Bill Faulkner and his wife Martha; and two sisters-in-law, Ona Franklin and Theresa Franklin. Visitation was held from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29, at Kilgore Funeral Home with the funeral immediately following at 2 p.m. with Rev. Daryl Cantrell officiating. Burial followed at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
