Donna Gay Hatchett, 81, of Tullahoma, passed away on Monday, Nov. 25, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Graveside services were held Wednesday at Mt. Carmel Cemetery with Brother Carl Roberts officiating. Moore-Cortner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

 

VANDYGRIFF

Faye Paulette Vandygriff, 75, of Winchester passed away on November 25, 2019, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems in Winchester. Funeral service was held Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2019 in the chapel at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Coutta officiating. Interment followed at Franklin Memorial Gardens. Moore-Cortner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. 

 

THOMPSON 

Thomas “Ray” Thompson, 71, of Manchester passed away on Friday, Nov. 22, 2019 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. Manchester Funeral Home is was in charge of arrangements.

 

BRYSON

Mary Elam Bryson, 95, of Nashville died Monday, Nov. 25, 2019. Private graveside services were held Wednesday, Nov. 27 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Gary Johnson officiating. She was a retired Manager of First National Bank of Tullahoma, a former Department Head of Castner Knott of Tullahoma and a member of Cedar Lane Church of Christ of Tullahoma. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Betty Williamson Elam and the wife of the late William Edward “Ed” Bryson. She is survived by a daughter, Tonya Bryson of Nashville; several nieces and nephews and her little dog “Bao”. Memorials may be made to Alive Hospice of Nashville (1718 Patterson St., Nashville, TN. 37203) or to a favorite animal shelter. Hillcrest Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

 

TRAIL

Max E. Trail of Tullahoma, passed this life on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019 at the age of 57. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30 at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with burial to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. A native of Woodbury, he was the son of the late Morris and Lloyd Evadene Tucker Trail. He worked for the Franklin County Board of Education and enjoyed hunting, fishing and building model cars.  He also loved being with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Leigh Trail. Mr. Trail is survived by his sons, Max Trail Jr (Rhonda) of Estill Springs and Adam Trail (Amy) of Richlands, NC; sisters, Teena, Darlene, Theresia, Pam and Tracy and grandchildren, Jacob and Kaitlyn. Robert “Bobby” Eugene Felton, 89, of Winchester, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019 at Southern Manor Assisted Living. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held at 10 a.m. Mondayat Franklin Memorial Gardens with Ed Boggess officiating. RIX 

Howard Everett Rix, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2019 at Tennova Harton at the age of 75. Memorial Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019 at Wesley Heights United Methodist Church, 2101 E. Lincoln Street, Tullahoma, TN  37388. The family will receive friends beginning at noon.  A native of New Hampshire, he was the son of the late Harlan E. and Mary Haynes Rix. He was retired from the U S Air Force and enjoyed woodworking, traveling, camping and watching the old Western TV show.  He was a member of Wesley Heights United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Richard, Robert and Phillip Rix. Mr. Rix is survived by wife, Janice Fallert Rix of Tullahoma; daughters, Jennifer Damron (Dewayne) of Lynchburg and Cindy Drake (Dewayne) of Manchester; brother, Johnny Rix Blackburn of Washington; sister, Jackie Haufe of Arizona; grandchildren, Cory Damron (Chelsee) of Lynchburg, Tyler Drake (fiance’ Annie) of Manchester, Morgan Polly (Dale) of Flintville and Reagan Damron (Derek) Of Tullahoma; great-grandchildren, Chase and Carly Damron and one grandchild on the way, Rhett.
