RITCHEY, Jerald Lee “Jerry,” 76, died Friday, April 19, 2019. He was born Sept. 19, 1942, in Daylight, the son of the late Lee D. Ritchey and Helon Bratcher Ritchey. Jerry attended MTSU and left to join the Army, completed flight school and flew helicopters in Vietnam. After Vietnam, he became a test pilot at Fort Rucker in Alabama. He retired from the FFA and Army National Guard in 1996. He was a lifelong member of the Tullahoma Downtown Lions Club, a member of the Quiet Birdmen and a Hospice volunteer. Preceded in death by wife Nancy H. Ritchey. Survived by life partner Sally Burnam Kimbrell; children Stacy (Michael) Finks, Jay Ritchey; grandchildren Katherine Finks, Joshua Finks, Natasha Ritchey, Celeste Wildes and Justice Ritchey; sister Carolyn (Audy) Sisk; other family, Lee (Heath) Brewer, Olivia and Victoria Brewer, Amy (Rich) Bailey, Emily Bailey, Dow (Erin) Kinbrell, Ealine and Helen Kimbrell. Visitation with the family will be held from 9:30 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, at Murfreesboro Funeral Home Chapel. WILLIAMS, Mary Ruth Dodson, 75, of Tullahoma, passed away April 18, 2019, in St. Thomas West Hospital. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, April 22, in the chapel of Lynchburg Funeral Home with burial in Hurricane Cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home from noon until the time of service Monday. Mrs. Williams was the daughter of the late Nolas and Janie Mae Patterson Dodson and the wife of 56 years to Joe L. Williams, who survives. She attended Raysville Baptist Church and was co-pastor of the Canaan Land Ministries. Mrs. Williams loved the Lord and Jesus, and her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, canning, knitting and working her farm. She was an accomplished, self-taught musician, playing the autoharp, mandolin and other instruments. Mrs. Williams lived her life for the Lord. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Williams is survived by her son Billy Joe Williams and wife, Bobbie Carol of Decherd; daughter, Karen Sanders and fiancé Jeff Grant of Lynchburg; brothers, Danny Dodson and wife Patricia of South Haven, Mississippi, and Harold Dodson of Decherd; sisters, Leona Thomas of Tullahoma, Ann Harper of Manchester, Rosie Williams of Mulberry, Ocie Lee Garner of Franklin; grandchildren: Shelly Cunningham and husband Gary, Brandon Williams, Joseph Williams, Dallas Hise and wife Brittany, Dusty Ashley, Destinee Sanders and fiancé Trey Scott; great-grandchildren Jaxon Cunningham, Maddie Cunningham, Mallory Cunningham, Adalyn Trioke, Calum Williams, Gunner Hise, Gauge Hise and Trinitee Scott.
