BOEHM, Karl Friedrich, 80, of Tullahoma passed this life on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at Tennova Healthcare-Harton. Mr. Boehm was born in Ulm, Germany, to the late Walter and Elizabeth Grass Boehm. Karl became a naturalized citizen of the United States after his Honorable Discharge from the United States Air Force - TAC Tankers 4505 Air Refueling. He worked as the Senior Vice President of Manufacturing for Micro Craft, and was very involved in the Tullahoma community he loved. He served on the Coffee County Industrial Board for many years, and was a member of the Tullahoma Noon Rotary, and a Paul Harris Fellow. Most importantly however, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. Mr. Boehm is survived by his loving wife, Thea Brenner Boehm; three children, Stephen Boehm and his wife Charlie, Michelle McCord and her husband John, and Robert Boehm; six grandchildren, Ally Boehm, Davis McCord, Anna Davidson and her husband Andrew, Jessica Hice and her husband Jordan, and Chase and Brooklyn Boehm; two great-grandchildren, Jennings and Joely Hice; one brother, Dieter Boehm and his wife D.J.; and one sister, Karla Ladrak and her husband Conrad. Visitation for Mr. Boehm will be from 3-5 p.m. on Friday, May 10, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church. A mass will follow at 5 p.m. with Father Stephen Klasek presiding. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Karl’s memory be made to either The Motlow College Foundation (emphasis on Nursing Program) P.O. Box 8500 - Dept. 160, Lynchburg, TN 37352; Partners for Healing, 109 W. Blackwell St. Tullahoma, TN 37388, or St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 304 W. Grizzard St., Tullahoma TN 37388. Mr. Boehm will continue to help countless others through the donation of his body to the Genesis Legacy Whole Body Donation Foundation.  Kilgore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
