Led by a second-place effort by the East Middle School girls team, Tullahoma put on strong performances when it hosted the Central Tennessee Conference Track and Field Championships on Monday at THS.

The Lady Panthers teamed to take second in the overall standings, finishing with a total of 106 points. The West girls team took fifth overall with 23.50 points. Coffee County captured the conference title on the girls side with 123 points.

On the boys side, West took third place overall in the team scores with 90 points, while East finished in fourth at 46 points. South Middle School captured the team title with 115 points.

Sarah Eaken took second place for East in the girls 100-meter dash, clocking with a time of 14.23 seconds. Teammate Victoria Kenimer took 12th in the same race at 15.64.

West’s Joanna House also ran in the same race, taking ninth at 15.00, while Ruth Jennings placed 13th at 15.95.

Alyssa Stephens led West in the 200 dash with a fourth-place effort at 30.42. Teammate Nia Sheffield took 12th at 32.45, while Baylee Cyree finished 18th at 36.09. East saw Chloe Denson finish eighth at 31.58, while Katelyn Daniels finished 10th at 31.67.

In the 400 dash, Eleanor Fults took second place for East, clocking in at 1:07.97. Teammate Kanora McGee finished third at 1:10.79 and Claire Fogarty took 14th at 1:24.04.

West saw Reagan Rogers take ninth in the same race at 1:18.55 and Mary Jenkins took 16h at 1:26.55.

In the 800 run, East saw Ellie Uehlein take third at 3:02.20. Teammate Laura Buenrostro finished fourth at 3:06.37, while Madison Brown took eighth at 3:14.08.

West saw Jaylynn Jacobs take ninth in the same race at 3:15.04. Zoe Barnett finished 13th at 3:32.42 and Isabella Rivera placed 15th at 3:34.91.

Uehlein also took third place for East in the 1,600 run at 6:19.85. Teammate Leix Lester finished fourth at 6:42.87, while Madison placed sixth at 6:59.66 and Kaitlyn Brown finished 11th at 9:05.97.

West saw Barnett finish in eighth in the same race at 7:48.05, while Rivera took 10th at 8:05.37.

In the 4x100 relay, East took fourth overall, as Denson, Kenimer, Laken Potter and Daniels all teamed to finish at 58.77. The West squad finished fifth in the same race at 59.19, with Alyssa Stephens, Lucy Nutt, Morgan Carr and House teaming to field that squad.

Kanora McGee, Fults, Daniels and Eakin all teamed for East to take second in the 4x200 relay, finishing with a time of 1:58.31. West’s squad of Nutt, Carr, Stephens and Sheffield took fourth at 2:04.18.

McGee, Audrey Todaro, Buenrostro and Arianna Yanofsky teamed to take fourth for East in the 4x400 relay, clocking in at 5:21.90. West’s team of Regan Rogers, Alivia Bowen, Bailey Trussell and Mikalah Sims took fifth at 5:25.88.

In the long jump, Fults took first place overall for East, leaping a distance of 13-feet and 4 inches. Yanofsky placed 15th for the Lady Panthers at 10-01.

Nutt took fifth for West in the same event, finishing at 12-5. Teammate Alivia finished 11th at 11-0.50, while Alaisha Bowen placed 14th at 10-05.

In the discus throw, East saw Callie Hargrove take second at 64-01.50. Teammate Marriana Hendon finished fifth at 59-09, while Israel Hovater took sixth at 57-03.25.

West saw Elise McCullough take ninth in the discus at 56-08. Rachel Ferguson took 11th at 51-04.25 and Baylee Buchanan took 12th at 51-0.

In the boys 100 dash, Jaxon Sheffield took fourth place for West at 12.55. Teammate Caiden Allsop finished sixth at 13.02, while Shamar Brewer took 11th at 13.57.

East saw Jalen Hill finish 10th at 13.55. Andrew Ewing finished 13th at 14.16 and Ryan Tenison placed 15th at 14.72.

Jaxon also took third in the 200 dash for West, finishing with a time of 25.82. Teammate DeVonte Blair finished fourth at 26.31.

East saw Zane Hopf take fifth place in the same race at 26.37. Andrew finished 12th at 28.71, while Christian Salazar finished 13th at 28.78.

In the 400 dash, Daniel Martinez took third for East, finishing at 1:02.29. Teammate Daniel Carpenter finished 11th in the same race at 1:11.15.

West’s Charlie Dodson finished fourth at 1:05.29, while Grant Chadwick took fifth at 1:05.55 and DeAndre Jenkins placed sixth at 1:07.50.

In the 1,600 run, West saw Grant Fogle take fourth at 5:52.79. Teammate Zach Anderson finished sixth in the same race at 6:02.61, while Bryceton Bunch finished eighth at 6:19.10. East’s Eli Tigue took 14th in the same race at 7:07.60.

East’s 4x100 relay team of Hill, Te’angelo Ewing, Logan Prosser and Allen Grant teamed to take second at 50.79. West’s squad took third at 50.88, as Allsop, Blair, Brewer and Tomlin all ran that race.

East also had a second-place effort in the 4x200, as Salazar, Te’Angelo, Allen and Prosser teamed to finish at 1:47.98.

In the 4x400, West saw Dodson, Chadwick, Tomlin and Brock Stroop team to finish second at 4:25.37. East took third in the same race at 4:27.59, as Martinez, Prosser, Hill and Allen competed in that event.

In the high jump, Tomlin took first place for West, clearing 5-4. Chadwick took fourth at 4-10, while Jerell Sheffield finished ninth at 4-06.

Hopf took third place for East in the high jump, at 5-02. Martinez took ninth in the same event at 4-06.

Hopf also tied for second in the long jump at 16-06, while Te’Angelo took 10th at 13-05. Jaxon took fourth for West at 16-04, while Blair finished in sixth at 15-04.

In the shot put, West’s Kristopher Rippy took second at 34-03. Teammate Nathan Jones finished 10th at 29-0, while Andrew Dawson took 16th at 21-05.75.

East saw Jaxon Bennett finish 11th in the same event at 28-09.50. Nathaniel Bobo took 13th at 25-04, while Jonathan Raulston finished 14th at 23-07.50.

Both Tullahoma teams will be sending athletes to compete in the TMSAA State Championships with are scheduled for Saturday at Austin Peay State University. Start time is scheduled for 8 a.m.
