Sports in Tullahoma have been shut down for the next two weeks, that according to school officials on Monday.
Amid COVID-19 (coronavirus) concerns, Tullahoma City School district officials announced on its social media platforms that school would be closed on Monday. Classes are slated to tentatively resume April 1, based on advice from Gov. Bill Lee.
However, that decision left question marks whether athletics would continue or not. The answer came Monday as school officials met and decided to suspend athletic competition until Monday, March 30.
School administrators are scheduled to meet again on March 23 to determine whether or not athletes will be allowed to participate in practices.
