THS boys bowling team

The Tullahoma High School boys bowling team will host the region tournament on Wednesday at Tullahoma Lanes. Matches are scheduled to get underway at 11 a.m.

After winning the District Title last month, the Tullahoma High School boys team will host the region tournament on Wednesday. 

Coming to Tullahoma will be Lawrence County, Smyrna and Blackman. Matches will take place at Tullahoma Lanes beginning at 11 a.m.

The Wildcats claimed the district title after winning three-straight matches at the district tournament in Columbia on Dec. 16. Tullahoma opened play with a 22-5 win over Summit, before moving on to defeated Franklin County 17-10 and then defeated Lawrence County 18-9.

The Lady Wildcats will also be participating in the region tournament. However, they will be traveling to Lawrence County on Friday for their matchups. Other schools in the region tournament include: Stewarts Creek, Lawrence County and Central Magnet. Matches are scheduled to get underway at 11 a.m. 

Tullahoma finished as the district runner-up after splitting its pair of matchups at the district tournament on Dec. 16. The Lady Wildcats first defeated Marshall County 23.5-3.5, before being beaten by Lawrence County 14.5-12.5.
