Hazel Mae King, 93, of Sherwood, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.  Hazel was born on Oct. 2, 1932, in Sherwood to the late Walter M. and Nannie E. (Smith) Haney. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, from 5-9 p.m. at Sherwood Emmanuel Apostolic Church.  Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Sherwood Emmanuel Apostolic Church. Interment will follow in Mt. View Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family would like to give a special thanks to Enhabit Home Health and Gentiva Hospice for the love and care show to Mrs. Hazel over the last several months.
