I read the recent article about the sex abuse lawsuit, and I am glad to see articles like this get published. There are so many evil people in the world, and even if it is too late to bring justice to some, it is important that the truth always be published. While it is unfortunate to hear of the Church’s behavior regarding the acts of many of its most trusted individuals, it is good to see there are people actively attempting to right those wrongs, and any less of such terrible people in the world is a victory for everyone. It is horrible to hear of how children can be abused by their elders and people they should be able to trust and of how many get away with that behavior without punishment. On top of that, so many individuals suffer from PTSD and trauma as a result of similar abuse but stay silent. More victims need to speak out about the trauma they have suffered so the abusers may be brought to justice and the victim can get help. Thank you for bringing important issues such as this to the forefront of our community.
