David Sherman Baker, Jr., 76
David Sherman Baker, Jr., of Tullahoma, passed this life on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2025 at Life Care Center in Tullahoma at the age of 76.
Mr. Baker was born in Lynchburg to the late David Sherman Baker, Sr. and Clara Scroggins Baker. He served his country proudly as a combat field medic in the United States Army during Vietnam and was awarded a Bronze Star with Valor. Mr. Baker then went on to work as a Distribution Manager at Worth Sports. After his retirement from Worth, he worked at Walmart in Tullahoma. In addition to his parents, Mr. Baker was preceded in death by one sister, Peggy Clanton; and his father-in-law, Bobby Stewart. He is survived by his wife, Donna Baker; one son, Josh (Jennifer) Baker; one grandson, Avery Baker; nieces, Karen (Mike) Brashears and Terra (Lannie) Smith; great-nieces and nephew, Ryan, Kellie and Libby; and his mother-in-law, Lillian Stewart.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 1 p.m. with Rev. Ronnie Holloway officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Mt. Garner Cemetery in Decherd.
