Costumed for a Cure raises $50K

For the past 19 years, Ascend employees across their 27 branches and offices have participated in fun Halloween activities. However, the fun has a meaningful purpose.
Employees at Ascend offices and anyone who visits an Ascend branch can vote for their favorite employee’s creative costume or decorated pumpkin. “Costumed for a Cure” votes are measured in dollars donated.
Ascend employees and customer’s efforts have raised over $50,000 for Blood Cancer United, formerly Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, to support their Dare to Dream project.
The funds raised go toward a capital campaign to transform the treatment and care of children suffering from blood cancer including cutting edge pediatric research.
In 2024, Ascend gave $1,400,000 back to the communities they serve through partnerships with local organizations, nonprofits and educational institutions.
