The Franklin County Emergency Management Agency recovered a vehicle from Tims Ford Lake this past week.
Officials said they responded to a report of a vehicle entering Tims Ford Lake on Saturday, Oct. 4. When the team arrived onto the scene, they discovered a truck that was fully submerged just off the shoreline.
“Our divers successfully located the vehicle underwater and were able to get it secured for Hasty Wrecker Service, who handled the recovery and removal from the lake,” Franklin County EMA officials said in a statement. “We’re grateful to report there were no injuries involved.”
The Franklin County EMA expressed thanks to both Hasty Wrecker and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office for the support during the recovery operation.
“As always, we remind everyone to use caution around water, especially near boat ramps and lakeside roads,” EMA officials said.
