A 37-year-old Tullahoma man remains in the Franklin County Jail on a $250,000 bond charged with aggravated assault and kidnapping stemming from a Sept. 28 altercation where he allegedly fired a gun at another man.
Franklin County Sheriff’s reports identified the suspect as Garieon Jamarriea Simmons, who is listed as having a Tullahoma address.
Reports said Simmons was allegedly at a Clark Road residence, south of Winchester, at about 9 p.m. on Sept. 28 with one witness stating he wanted to buy a puppy and another witness alleging it was a drug deal.
Reports said Simmons, while outside the home near a vehicle, allegedly grabbed a woman who lives at the Clark Road location and held her against her will, creating red marks around her right wrist.

Reports said deputies retrieved a 9 mm shell casing at the scene.
Reports said deputies later drove to Tullahoma, conducted an investigation and then arrested Simmons and transported him to the Franklin County Jail.
Simmons has been charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, reckless endangerment and kidnapping.
