Robert David Rose, age 85 of Winchester, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 5, 2025, at the Col. Robert L. Howard State Home in Pell City, Alabama. Robert was born on Nov. 4, 1939, in Decherd, to the late William “Bill” and Eunice (Clark) Rose.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, from 5 – 8 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Rev. Thad Collier officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Garner Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Moore-Cortner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
