Halloween happenings in Tullahoma

With Halloween over a week away, the Tullahoma community is getting to the Halloween spirit with its own variety of fall festivals, trunk or treats and monster mashes.

Here’s a list of all the fall and spooky happenings in Tullahoma starting this Friday:

Nightmare Before Christmas movie screening Oct. 24: South Jackson Performing Arts Center will be hosting a screening of Tim Burton’s “Nightmare Before Christmas” on Friday, Oct. 24. Screening starts at 7:30 p.m. on the main stage and admission is $8.

Fall Festival at Marble Plains Baptist Oct. 25: Marble Plains Baptist Church will host its’ annual Fall Festival on Saturday, October 25th.  The event begins at 4 p.m. with games, crafts, hayrides, and campfire fun.  At 5 p.m., a chili, soup, and hot dog supper will be served.  The Fall Festival is open for all ages and guests are encouraged to attend. Marble Plains Church is located just inside Tims Ford State Park at 525 Marble Plains Road in Winchester.

Tims Ford Haunted Island Oct. 24-25: Tims Ford will host a haunted island at Devil’s Step from 6-9 p.m. Oct. 24-25. Cost is $20 and $15 for 15 and younger. For more info go the Tims Ford event page at tnstateparks.com. The address is 750 Fairview Road, Winchester.

Spirits Walk & Ghost Stories at South Jackson Oct. 24-26: The Highland Rim Scottish Society and South Jackson Performing Arts Center are inviting residents to step into an evening of eerie charm with chilling tales, fine whiskies and other spirits from both the Auld World and the New for its Spirits Walk & Ghost Stories starting Friday, Oct. 24, through Sunday, Oct. 26, at South Jackson Performing Arts Center. The events start at 6:15 p.m. where attendees can prepare for ghostly stories from the across the centuries as they wander through the performing arts center. Along the way, sample fine Scottish whiskies, American Bourbon and Irish gin from some of the most haunted distilleries while encountering the legends of spirits that linger both abroad and here at home. Tickets can be purchased by visiting South Jackson’s website at southjacksonperformingartscenter.thundertix.com. Attendees must be 21 and over.

Bram Stoker’s Dracula movie screening Oct. 25: South Jackson Performing Arts Center will be hosting a screening of Bram Stoker’s “Dracula” on Saturday, Oct. 25. Screening starts at 7:30 p.m. on the main stage and admission is $8.

Boos with Dems Oct. 25: Boos with Dems, Saturday, October 25, from 1-4 p.m.  – The CCDP will be hosting Boos with Dems (normally Drinks with Dems) at the Harvest Local Foods, 101 N. Irwin Street, Manchester.  This community outreach event is held on the fourth Saturday of each month.  It gives the Coffee County community a chance to get together, talk about the latest political events, and make new friends.  Wear your Halloween costume and join us for spooky activities and Halloween snacks. All ages welcome.

Bark in the Park Oct. 25: Join the Tullahoma Animal Shelter on Saturday, Oct. 25, at Waggoner Park for the 2025 Bark in the Park. Bark in the Park will give residents of finding the dogs at the Tullahoma Animal Shelter a forever home. Attendees will also enjoy some of the various events happening throughout the day, including pumpkin painting, cornhole tournament, pumpkin carving, Mr. & Mrs. Tullahoma Canine, a kids costume contest and trunk or treat to close out the event. Fall Festival at Highland Hills Oct. 25: Celebrate fall with Highland Hills Church of Christ at the Fall Festival at Highland Hills on Oct. 25 at 720 Kings Lane. Bring family and friends for an evening of fun with Trunk or Treat, a Chili Cook-Off, and games for all ages. The event is free and everyone of all ages are welcomed.

Jeep or Treat at Tractor Supply Oct. 25: Tullahoma Tractor Supply is inviting families to bring the children to its Jeep or Treat event on Saturday, Oct 25, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the store’s location at 1905 N.

King’s Cross Church Fall Festival and Trunk or treat Oct. 25: King’s Cross Church is inviting residents to its Fall Festival & Trunk or treat on Saturday, Oct. 25, at 222 Turkey Creek Road from 3 to 5 p.m. Attendees can enjoy an afternoon of candy, games and community.

Fall Festival at Moore County High School Oct. 25: Come on by to Moore County High School, located at 1502 Lynchburg Highway, for the high school’s Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 25, starting at 4 p.m. It will include candy, food, bounce houses and more.

Trick or Treat & Shop the Street Oct. 26: Come out to the Trick or Treat & Shop the Street fall festival on Sunday, Oct. 26, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Tims Ford Event Center, located at 89 Blue Creek Road. The event will feature a fall market with local vendors, food trucks and trick-or-treating for children of all ages. Costumes are encouraged.

Trunk or Treat at Wesley Heights Oct. 26: Wesley Heights United Methodist Church is sponsoring a “Trunk or Treat” on Oct. 26 from 2-4 p.m. at 2101 E. Lincoln St. All are invited to come enjoy free hotdogs, popcorn, games and treats. 

Trunk or Treat at Cedar Lane church of Christ Oct. 26: Cedar Lane church of Christ is inviting residents to its Trunk or Treat on Sunday, Oct. 26, from 5 to 7 p.m. at 1200 Cedar Lane. It will feature candy, hotdogs, face painting, a photo booth and pumpkin crafts.

Estill Springs Nazarene – Community wide Trunk or Treat Oct. 26: The Estill Springs Nazarene are inviting residents to its Community-Wide Trunk or Treat on Sunday, Oct. 26, from 5 to 7 p.m. at 105 Flower Lane Drive in Estill Springs. It will feature candy, a photo booth, music and more.

Trunk or Treat with Motlow Athletics Oct. 28: Motlow Athletics is hosting its Trunk or Treat on Tuesday, Oct. 28, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Motlow’s Moore County campus gym parking lot, located at 6015 Ledford Mill Road. The event will include bounce houses, face painting and candy.

RTTN presents “Light the Night” Trunk or Treat Oct. 29: Redemption To The Nations will host its “Light the Night” Trunk or Treat on Tuesday, Oct. 29, at 808 Anderson St. from 6 to 8 p.m. The free event will have games, food, a bounce house, a bonfire and a cakewalk.

Trunk or Treat at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church Oct. 29: Join the St. Barnabas Episcopal Church for its Trunk or Treat and Spooky Organ Concert on Wednesday, Oct. 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. at 110 E. Lincoln St.

Fall Fest at First Baptist Tullahoma Oct. 31: First Baptist Tullahoma is inviting residents to its Fall Festival on Friday, Oct. 31, at 108 E. Grundy St., from 4 to 6 p.m. It will feature games, food and candy for the whole family.

Downtown trick or treat Oct. 31: The annual downtown trick or treat will be held Oct. 31 from 3-5 p.m.

Caldwell Family Trunk or Treat Oct. 31: Residents looking for a family-hosted trunk or treat on Halloween can make a stop at the Caldwell Family Trunk or Treat at 501 Noblitt Lane from 5 to 9 p.m.

Trunk or Treat at Grider Stadium Oct. 31: The Tullahoma Parks and Recreation Department is welcoming residents to a spooktacular night of fun at its Halloween Trunk or Treat at Grider Stadium Rocket Park, located at 220 Big Springs Ave., on Friday, Oct. 31. From 5 – 7 p.m., families can come out for a safe and fun Halloween with candy, costumes and community. For more info call D.W. New Life United Pentecostal Church at Trunk or Treat Oct. 31: New Life Pentecostal Church will be hosting a Trunk or Treat on Friday, Oct. 31, at 4347 Metro 41A Highway in Normandy at 7 p.m.
