The South didn’t really lose the Civil War
Contrary to public opinion and the view of historians, the South did not lose the Civil War! Oh, the South (then Democratic) did lose a few skirmishes in the 1860s but that was just to lull the North (then Republican) into a false sense of security. The “surrender” in 1865 was beautifully choreographed to complete the deception.
Several generations later and after numerous political squabbles over the years, the South (now Republican) has replaced General Robert E. Lee with “Generalissimo” Donald J. Trump. A second phase of the war against the North (now Democratic) may well be underway and spreading from coast to coast. The muskets are mainly silent now but “at the ready”!
Will this phase end with a victor or just another lull in this seemingly endless conflict? Unknown at this time!
