UTSI holds awards luncheon

The University of Tennessee Space Institute (UTSI) held their annual awards luncheon to honor their faculty, staff, and students on Wednesday, Aug. 27. The awards were presented by UTSI Director and Professor John Schmisseur.

Service award winners were:

Misty Brown, Tim Johnson, Jeremy Keele, Cathy Thompson, and Ryan Winton: 5-Year Service Award

Tamara Bonner–Thompson, Kaycee Edwards, Meghan Morris, John Schmisseur, and Nick Van Zandbergen: 10-Year Service Award

Trevor Moeller: 20-Year Service Award

Doug Warnberg: 25-Year Service Award

Charlene Hane: 35-Year Service Award

Charlotte Henley: 45-Year Service Award

Special recognition award winners were:

Effie Burnette, Josh Hodges, and Courtney Maricle-Frazier: Employee Relations Committee Recognition

Brian Canfield: Commitment to Excellence Award

Kirk Davenport: The Joel Muelhauser Launch Award

Facilities Department: All Vols Team Award
