Tullahoma girls’ soccer records another shutout victory

The Tullahoma girls’ soccer team remains unbeaten in 2025. They have just picked up another 9-0 win this time over Battle Creek High School.
The Lady Wildcats soccer team has proven week after week that they are one of the better teams in the region. But their win over Battle Creek High School brings up the conversation that they may very well be one of the better teams in the state of TN. The opposing Lady Grizzlies going into their contest against Tullahoma were 4-1. Their only loss came against Columbia Central, who are currently 7-1-2 in 2025. The fact that the Lady Wildcats were able to shut out and score nine goals against a solid high school soccer team is unbelievable.
The leading scorer for the Lady Wildcats in this contest was McLayne Bobo. She scored three goals in the game. Another big performer was Macy Marcel. She helped the ‘Cats in claiming the early momentum in the first half by scoring two goals. Her two goals were a part of five Tullahoma goals in the opening half of play. The other Wildcats’ goals in the contest came from Bridnley Dunan, Jossalyn Garcia, Avery Sisk, and Finley Dacosta. All four players scored one goal in the contest.
The Lady Wildcats will be in action again on Sept.11, where they take on a struggling Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet High School team, who are currently 2-8 on the season. Read next week’s addition of the Tullahoma News for a game story on the ‘Cats game against the opposing Lady Royals.
