In response to Mr. Mohyuddin’s recent letter and false accusations regarding my understanding of the 1st Amendment – thank God our Founders saw the need to codify that it is government’s responsibility to protect an American citizen’s God-given right to free speech and freedom of conscience.

As for my former letter, I simply challenged local parents to be informed about what their children are being taught and what is the ideological bent of those teaching them.  Parents are ultimately responsible for their children’s education and should take an active interest in what their children are being taught in our public schools.
