State Fair begins today in Lebanon

The 2025 Wilson County – Tennessee State Fair, presented by Mid-South Ford Dealers, will bring 10 days of Goin’ Hog Wild and Bacon Memories plus a whole lot of fun. From August 14 – 23, 2025, the James E. Ward Agricultural Center in Lebanon, will come alive with the sights, sounds and tastes that make the Fair a can’t-miss event every summer.

In honor of America’s 250th birthday, organizers bringing a little extra red, white and blue to this year’s Wilson County – Tennessee State Fair.

“As the nation prepares to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 2026, we’re joining in by recognizing the people, milestones and moments that have shaped our country,” organizers revealed. “This celebration allows us to honor the sacrifices of those who built our nation and to look ahead with pride at the innovation and spirit that will lead us into the future. We’ve always believed Tennessee is home to the greatest State Fair and in 2025, we’re proud to carry on our patriotic traditions.”

The public is invited to the Grand Opening of the 2025 Fair, August 14 at 6 p.m. in front of the Made in Tennessee Building where they will kick off the BEST 10 Days of the Year and also kick off their celebration of America’s 250! The Fair’s Opening Parade will follow at 7 p.m.

Tickets to the Fair are on sale online now at wilsoncountytnstatefair.com and at the Wilson County – Tennessee State Fair Office. Season and Mega Tickets are also now available at local banks.

NEW FOR 2025: Ride Armbands can be purchased any day except Saturdays. Individual Ride Tickets can be purchased onsite all 10 days. ONLY INDIVIDUAL RIDE TICKETS WILL BE SOLD ON SATURDAYS. Armbands purchased in advance via a Mega Ticket will be honored on Saturdays!

Season Tickets are $45 and good for admission all 10 days of the Fair. For only $45 you can receive a $150 value!

Mega Tickets include one gate admission and one ride armband – good for one day only, any day of the Fair, including Saturdays. Mega tickets can be purchased for $30 and can only be purchased until midnight on Wednesday, August 13.

Daily Tickets are on sale online NOW until midnight on Wednesday, August 13 at a discounted rate of $12 plus credit card convenience fee ($15 after the Fair opens). See our website for more information.

The Fair is packed with more than 150 livestock shows, 16 stages of entertainment, over 150 activities and events, over 60 midway rides, more than 100 concessions and over 100 vendors and commercial booths.

The 2025 Fair includes fresh fun for fairgoers of all ages. Soar above the fairgrounds on the new Tennessee Lift Sky Ride offering a new way to experience the magic of the Fair. The Ag Venture Barn is getting an exciting upgrade and debuting as the Ag Venture Experience where hands-on agricultural learning meets family fun. New contests include the Pig Tail Hair Competition, The Great Bacon Toss and the Pig Callin’ Competition. There will also be the first-ever Taste of the Fair Food Competition where concessionaires will go head-to-head to win over the judges and the top prize of Best Fair Food.

Nightly events include various motorsports and livestock events, live music, Historic Fiddlers Grove demonstrators, agriculture education, Pick Tennessee Experience, Travel Tennessee, Best of Tennessee competitions, Eudora Farms Petting Zoo, hypnotist Richard Barker, K9’s in Flight and so much more.

“Whether you’re a master baker, skilled crafter or garden grower, there’s a place to showcase your talents. With competitions open to Wilson County residents and Tennessee residents, it’s your chance to earn bragging rights and maybe even a blue ribbon,” organizers said.
