At the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce Executive Conference last Friday, the Tullahoma Area Chamber of Commerce was officially named “Tennessee Chamber of Commerce of the Year 2025”. This is the first time the Tullahoma Chamber has received the statewide recognition. The award ceremony was held in Savannah, Tennessee.
Hope Nunley, Chamber Executive Director for the past nine years, accepted the award on behalf of the Chamber.
“I accepted the award on behalf of the Chamber staff, board, ambassadors and members. We are incredibly grateful for the support of every past and present board member, ambassador and employee who helped make this achievement a reality,” said Nunley.
Nunley continued, “We believe this award reflects the way we strive to serve our community every day and it inspires us to continue our commitment with even greater passion.”
The award was judged based on each chamber’s networking and communication, education and workforce development, advocacy and government relations, and community engagement and social impact.
The Tullahoma Chamber was nominated by a Chamber board member.
The Tullahoma Chamber has over 500 member businesses and hosts over 70 events annually. The Chamber reaches over 14,000 attendees to their events annually, according to Nunley.
When asked what set the Tullahoma Chamber’s nomination apart from the other nominations, Nunley said, “Our Creating Educational Opportunities (C.E.O.) program, number of members for the size of our community and the overall activities with the number and diversity of events.”
The Tullahoma Area Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1921.
