Elizabeth “Liz” Coutta, age 84 of Winchester, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2025, at home surrounded by her loving family.  Liz was born on June 26, 1941, in Montgomery, Ala., to the late Benjamine Carl Pearson and Lela Mae (Foshee) Pearson. 

 Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2025, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Winchester Memorial Park with Danny Faye, Joe Holiday, Dwight Key, Doyle Huffer, Jim Cortner and Tommy Levi all serving as pallbearers.

Moore-Cortner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
