Tullahoma Cal Ripken League opens fall baseball registration

After a standout spring season and a remarkable All-Star summer, Tullahoma Cal Ripken is keeping the momentum going by opening registration for its 2025 Fall Ball season, now offering divisions for players ages 5 through 15. This fall also marks the official launch of Babe Ruth Baseball in Tullahoma, giving players ages 13–15 a much-needed place to keep playing and developing.

“This spring, we saw some of the best baseball played in recent memory,” said Jeff Panko, Board Member. “Our players grew tremendously—on the field and as teammates. The level of talent and effort all season long was impressive, and that carried right into All-Stars.”

Tullahoma teams made strong showings at the District and State All-Star tournaments, with multiple age groups advancing deep into competition. Most notably, the 12U All-Star Black team is now heading to the Southeast Regional Tournament, representing Tullahoma on one of the biggest stages in youth baseball.

With that success comes a clear next step: Babe Ruth Baseball for ages 13–15. This new division allows older players to transition to a full-size field with age-appropriate development, helping them prepare for middle and high school ball. Until now, many Tullahoma players had to stop playing or travel outside the area to keep competing at this level.

 Fall Ball Divisions (Ages 5–15):

  • 5–6 Year Olds: First steps into baseball with fun-focused, coach-pitch games
  • 7–8 Year Olds: Continued fundamentals, teamwork, and game awareness
  • 9–10 Year Olds: Skill-building with more advanced gameplay
  • 11–12 Year Olds: Strong preparation for competitive play and school teams
  • 13–15 Year Olds: NEW Babe Ruth Division — real-game pace, full-size field, big development

What to Expect This Fall:

  • Practices start in mid-August
  • Games run from late August through October
  • All games are played locally—no travel required
  • The goal is to field at least four teams per division
  • All skill levels welcome—no tryouts
  • Games are typically scheduled on weeknights to avoid conflicts with youth football and weekend travel tournaments
  • Discounted registration is available for board-approved managers who volunteer to coach

Registration is open

Early registration helps organize teams and build schedules. Parents, coaches, and volunteers are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible by visiting Tullahomacalripken.org.
