Theda Jane Moore, of Columbia passed this life on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at her home at the age of 77.

Mrs. Moore was born in Manchester to the late Osborn and Doris Shasteen Shelton. During her life she worked as an assistant to the Chief Prosecutor with the U.S. Department of Justice. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by one brother, Don Shelton; and one brother-in-law, Charles Howell. She is survived by her husband, Richard Moore; one daughter, Tamara (Dana) White; two sisters, Sandra Howell and Brenda (Mike) Archbold; four grandchildren, Michael, Michelle, MaKenzi, and Morgan; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m. A graveside service will immediately follow at 1 p.m. at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.

Kilgore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
