The state champion Tullahoma U12 team are heading to the Southeast Regionals later this month.

They punched their ticket by winning the District and then State titles, going 8-0 during their dominant run to the title. The city of Tullahoma will be placing a plaque at Wagoner Park July 5, recognizing the boys and the state championship brought back to Tullahoma.

The next round will be played in Ft. Myers, Florida July 15-20. Given the expense of the trip, the team is needing financial help from the community.

“They need a big help from the community,” sponsors said in their request for public help. “They are looking for local business sponsorships and donations. They have 12 days to raise the funds (as of Wednesday), as they have to check in on July 15.”

To help raise funds the team is selling sponsorships. Checks can be made to Tullahoma Area Baseball. Tullahoma Cal Ripken Baseball is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit charitable organization EIN 62-1553626.

Sponsorships include a framed teamed photo and a spotlight on social media for a $250 donation. A framed team photo, social media spotlight and official hat and t-shirt for a $500 donation; a sponsorship plaque with team photo, social media spotlight, hat and t-shirt for $750; a sponsor logo on the team banner, plaque with team photo, social media spotlight, hat and shirt for $1,000 and large sponsor logo on their banner, plaque with photo, social media spotlight, hat and t-shirt for $2,500 donation.
