The skies of Tullahoma was lit up to the roaring booms and colors of fireworks as the city held its annual Independence Day celebration.
The gates opened for guests at Frazier McEwen Park and Grider Stadium in the afternoon of July 3 for this year’s Tullahoma Independence Day Regional Celebration. The day was filled with food, games, vendors, music and the largest area fireworks show.
Leading up to the pyrotechnic power display were local-favorite bands Vinyl Radio, a 1970s and ‘80s music band, and Sixwire, the critically acclaimed house band for the Nashville Predators. Vinyl Radio, who has been performing at the celebration for the past five years, performed first following the opening of the gates, and were followed by Sixwire, who has been performing at the celebration for four years, who performed to attendees up to the fireworks show, provided by Pyro Shows. Sixwire returned to the stage to close out the night following the fireworks.
This year’s Tullahoma Independence Day Regional Celebration main sponsors are the city of Tullahoma, Michelob Ultra and Distributing L&H Company, Inc. The event is also sponsored by Rogers Group, SmartBank, FirstBank, Minutemen Press, Tullahoma Utilities Authority, CASS-TN, Inc., Ascend Federal Credit Union, St. John Engineering, LLC, Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital and Tullahoma Parks and Recreation.
