Tullahoma, after ending the season with a 32-12 record and making the state semifinals, ranked as the fourth-best 3A team in the state, by the Tennessee Baseball Coaches Association.

The Wildcats’ stellar season continues to get noticed. This is the second year in a row the Wildcats have finished in the top five in this end-of-season rankings. The three teams that rank above them this year are the three other teams that appeared in the state semis–Munford, Greeneville, and South Gibson. The three schools combined for a record of 92-34. The number one ranked team on the list, Greeneville, had the best record of the bunch at 38-8. They went on to become state champions for the second time in three years–winning the year previous to the Wildcats. They beat Munford 10-0 in the title game.
