Jim Miller Obituary
Jim Miller of Tullahoma passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at the Life Care Center of Tullahoma at the age of 83.
Jim was born in Nashville to the late Edward and Wanda Murphree Miller. During his life, Jim worked for many years as the Store Manager of Castner-Knott (Later Dillard’s) in Tullahoma and Franklin, followed by a career in real estate with First Choice Realty. He was a devoted member of the Highland Rim Kiwanis Club, and a past president of the Tullahoma Habitat for Humanity, as well as the Coffee County Democratic Party. He had also served as a former Boy Scout Master, and was a member of First Methodist Church of Tullahoma, and the First Methodist Men’s Club. Jim enjoyed spending time in the outdoors and fishing, but more than anything, he enjoyed spending time with his family, and will be remembered as a doting grandfather. In addition to his parents, Mr. Miller was preceded in death by one brother, Franklin Miller.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Orrell Miller; one son, Jeff Miller (Ann); one daughter, Jennifer Miller Bratcher (Jim); one brother, Lindsey Miller (Betsy); and two grandchildren, Miller and Marlee Unzicker.
Visitation for Mr. Miller was held on Friday, June 6, 2025 at Kilgore Funeral Home. Funeral services followed in the Kilgore Funeral Home chapel. Burial followed at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
