TUA LightTube awards $25k in scholarships to six THS seniors

TUA LightTube has announced the awarding of six scholarships to graduating seniors from Tullahoma High School, reinforcing its commitment to supporting education, empowering local students and giving back to the community it serves.

This year’s recipients are:

• Zoey Johns – $7,500

• Bronson Bunch – $7,500

• Christopher Verdin – $2,500

• Kaitlyn Brown – $2,500

• Lindsey Eavey – $2,500

• Zyler Spinner – $2,500

The scholarship recipients were selected through a competitive process based on academic achievement, leadership qualities, community involvement, and future aspirations. Each scholarship will help cover tuition, books, or other educational expenses as students pursue degrees at accredited colleges, universities, or technical schools.

“We believe in investing in our community, and that starts with our young people,” said Allen Potter, President and CEO of TUA LightTube. “These students represent the best of Tullahoma’s future, and we’re honored to support their continued success.”

The scholarship program is part of TUA LightTube’s broader mission to strengthen the local community—not just through delivering reliable utility and broadband services but by actively supporting initiatives that enhance education, opportunity, and quality of life in Tullahoma.
