CAC celebrates 20 years with a birthday bash
The Coffee County Children’s Advocacy Center (CCCAC) will celebrate 20 years of serving children and families with a Community Birthday Bash on Saturday, May 3 from 1–4 p.m. at Fred Deadman Park in Manchester. The event is a free, family-friendly event will include fun for all ages, and will feature both a silent auction inside the Ada Wright Center and a live auction during the celebration. The silent auction will run from 1-3 p.m. with the event program and live auction starting at 3 p.m. Live auction items include Bonnaroo tickets, Pilgrimage Festival Tickets, J & G pizza for a year, Jack Daniels, Private Wine Party at Total Wine & More for up to 20 guests as well as pack of four tickets to an upcoming Nashville Soccer game with warm-up experience and private fishing tour with Captain Davis.
CCCAC invites the entire community to join in recognizing two decades of advocacy, healing, and hope. The event will include activities for kids including a chance for them to get up close and personal with some of the vehicles of local first responders. There will also be a great live and silent auction with items generously donated by area businesses and supporters.
“For 20 years, we’ve been committed to helping children find safety, support, and justice,” said Ivy Petty, Interim Director of CCCAC. “This event is not only a celebration of the work that’s been done, but also a thank-you to the people who have stood with us along the way.”

All auction proceeds will benefit the center’s programs, including forensic interviews, counseling, victim advocacy, and prevention education aimed at ending child abuse in Coffee County.
