Mary Sue Prince, 89, peacefully passed from this life on Tuesday, April 15 at 89 years of age.

She was a resident of Highland Ridge, Awalt, Center Grove and Turkey Creek Rd. Tullahoma. She was a Christian and a member of Marble Plains Church.

Starting in 2009 and ending in 2015 she read the complete King James Bible, studying two nights a week for 6 years. Sue was devoted to her family and she was a wise matriarch, supportive and caring. Floyd (Doc) and Sue owned Prince and Sons excavation Company for 30+ years. She was a master gardener, and a lover of Persian cats.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband, of 73 years, William Floyd Prince (Doc); her parents, Elizabeth Felicia Moinette Solomon and Ollie Alvin Solomon; her sisters Elizabeth Clark, Virginia Winton, and Odell Solomon.

She is survived by her children, Myra Prince Patton, Bruce Prince (Deborah), Larry Prince (Brenda), Mark Prince (Kelly), 8 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held Friday, April 18 at the Tullahoma Funeral Home with Roger Parks officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
