ReVIDA Recovery Centers expands opioid recovery to Tullahoma

As communities across the state continue to feel the effects of the opioid crisis, ReVIDA Recovery Centers has expanded its footprint with a new facility in Tullahoma.
Elected officials and community leaders came together on Wednesday, March 5, to welcome ReVIDA to the community. Lee Dilworth, CEO of ReVIDA Recovery Centers, shared insight on fighting the opioid crisis and how ReVIDA is meeting the needs of uninsured and underinsured Tennesseans with their Treatment for All program. The event highlighted the needs of Tullahoma and the benefits of expanded access to care.
“Expanding access to treatment is critical in fighting the opioid crisis,” Dilworth said. “Expanding to Tullahoma will allow us to treat more patients in need of recovery. This facility will be a resource for the community for years to come and will help members of this community reclaim their lives from opioid addiction.”
Dilworth said ReVIDA’s mission is to help and equip patients to reclaim their lives from opioid use disorder.
“There’s so much unmet patient need,” Dilworth said. “We have neighbors who’s lived with opioid use disorder. It’s a very debilitating disorder, and it impacts communities at large. It impacts all aspects of these communities.”
Fancy Kilgore, Program Director for ReVIDA’s Sparta and Tullahoma locations, brings years of experience in the healthcare and recovery field. Previously, Kilgore served as the office manager of Health Connect America in Winchester.
“One of the great things that I have found is when people come in, a lot of times struggling with opioid use disorder, they’ve lost a lot and are trying to regain that,” Kilgore said. “So, our care coordinator, and us as a team, we help them regain those things.”
ReVIDA celebrated “Treatment for All” day on Wednesday, March 12, at the Tullahoma location where patients were able to come and be seen the same day and utilize ReVIDA’s Treatment for All program.
The Treatment for All program allows uninsured and underinsured patients to receive the treatment they need for free or at a reduced cost. The program, made possible by a grant from the Tennessee Opioid Abatement Council, is available at all of ReVIDA’s Tennessee locations.
“The Treatment for All program breaks down barriers to treatment,” Dilworth said.
