Daffodil Day postponed to March 22

The 48th annual Bell Buckle Daffodil Day has been postponed until March 22 due to severe weather that is expected this week.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Entries will be accepted from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Bethany Hall right next to Farm Girlz Goods off Main Street.  For more details on Flower Show rules and Flower Show divisions and classes, please visit https://bellbucklechamber.com/daffodil-day-show-rules-of-entry/.

While the flower show entries are being judged, attendees can take the opportunity to enjoy everything Bell Buckle and this event have to offer as Spring is ushered in.  Family-owned nursery, M&L, will have daffodils, tulips, and other plants available for purchase. Bell Buckle is also super proud to be celebrating its quarter century mark as a Tree City USA with our ever popular FREE tree seedlings given away on the downtown Quilt Square.  This year’s selections will be Bur Oak, Common Persimmon, and Native Sweet Pecan.

Winners will be announced at 12:30 p.m. There will be an Arbor Day Ceremony on the Quilt Square.
