Franklin County man charged following drug bust

A search of a residence has resulted in a drug bust and arrest of a Franklin County man.
According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, the criminal investigation division executed a search warrant at the residence of Matthew Blake Williams at Decherd Estill Road in Winchester on Saturday, March 8. During the search, the following items were seized:
– 3.5 oz of suspected methamphetamine
– 13 grams of suspected fentanyl
– 1 gram of suspected cocaine
– 7 grams of mushrooms
– 46 grams of suspected marijuana
– 4 guns, one of which was stolen
– $6,475 of U.S. currency
As a result of the search warrant and investigation, Williams was arrested and charged with the following charges:
– Mfg/Del/ Sell of Schedule I
– Mfg/Del/Sell of Schedule II (Meth)
– Mfg/Del/ Sell of Schedule II (Fentanyl)
– Possession of Schedule I
– Mfg/Del/Sell of Schedule VI
– Felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
– Unlawful Possession of a Weapon
– Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Felony
– Maintaining a Dwelling for Drug Purposes
– Theft of Property
– Driving on Revoked/Suspended License
Matthew’s court date is April 21, 2025, in Franklin County General Sessions Court. He is currently being held on a $75,000 bond.
