Marjorie Edith Layne, 82, of Decherd, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on February 2, 2025, at Kindred Hospital in Chattanooga.  She was born on Nov. 13, 1942, in Pittsburg, PA, to the late William Charles and Marjorie Edith (Kimmler) Pryor. 

A private service will be held at a later date. 

Moore-Cortner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
